Your Job Search Has Its Own Calendar

Interviews, take-homes, deadlines and follow-ups — most of it filled in from the rounds you already logged.

Every date your job search runs on

Six event types across month, week and agenda views.

  • Month, week, agenda

Month for the shape of the next few weeks, week for a heavy interview stretch, agenda for a plain list of what is coming.

  • Events that create themselves

Add a date to an interview round and the event appears here. The round stays authoritative, so the two never drift apart.

  • Colour-coded by type

Interview, assessment, deadline, offer, follow-up and task each have their own colour, so a heavy week reads at a glance.

  • Deadlines you would otherwise miss

Take-home due dates and application cut-offs are the ones that quietly expire. Put them here with everything else.

  • Follow-ups on purpose

The polite nudge a week after the onsite is easy to intend and easy to forget. Schedule it the day the round ends.

  • One calendar per board

Events belong to a board, so a contract search and a full-time search do not end up on top of each other.

How the job search calendar works

Most of it fills itself in from the rounds you log.

  1. Log rounds with dates

Schedule an interview round in the interview tracker and its calendar event is created for you, on the right board.

  2. Add what nobody scheduled

Take-home deadlines, application cut-offs, an offer decision date, the follow-up email you promised yourself you would send.

  3. Check the week ahead

Open agenda view on Sunday. Three interviews and a take-home due Wednesday is a week you want to know about in advance.

Job calendar questions

How the calendar relates to your interviews and boards.

Do I have to add interviews to the calendar by hand?

+

No. An interview round with a date creates its calendar event automatically. You only add events by hand for things no round covers — deadlines, follow-ups, offer dates, your own tasks.

Can I edit an event that came from an interview round?

+

Edit the round instead. Rounds are the source of truth, so a change made directly on a derived event is overwritten the next time that round is saved.

What event types are there?

+

Interview, assessment, deadline, offer, follow-up and task — each with its own colour so the month view is readable at a glance.

Does it sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?

+

Not today. The job calendar lives inside Lampzi alongside your board and interviews. It is deliberately separate from your work calendar rather than mixed into it.

Is the calendar shared with anyone?

+

No. Calendar events are scoped to your account and your board, and are never part of anything published to the community feed.

What happens if I keep several boards?

+

Each board has its own calendar. Switch boards and the calendar switches with it, so parallel searches do not overlap.
